Styling / photography of a multiplex coaster called ‘Letterzetter’
CONCEPT
This project is in collaboration with stylist Yuen Han Lam. Monice Janson asked us to make a product-shot of the Letterzetter to promote her coaster on social media and her website. The shape of the ‘Letterzetter’ is a flower (in dutch: bloem) made out of the letter ‘b’.
Yuen and I photographed from a top view on a table which is made of the same material as the coaster itself; multiplex. So that it’s clear what kind of material the coaster is. The white tablecloth clarifies the fact that this is a table from above and the white color also brightens the photo up. On several coasters we placed items in the same color als the corporate identity of Monice Janson. Just a glass of juice is not recognizable; the hand and some flowers clarify the top view.
To make the image more fun, we decided to make a GIF animation. The result is fresh, clean, appropriate to corporate identity and the use of the products is well-explained.
